![]() the blue linkia stars are difficult to feed, or at least their diet is uncertain and in an aquarium, most likely lacking. I have heard that you can manually feed them, but this is a chore.
The red stars supposivly last longer, but their diet is also largely uncertain.

![]() Hey Raf, any idea "what" you could feed a linckia? I heard that too, and tried, but I never could get mine to accept anything. Mine lasted for about a year and a half in the end.

![]() By far one of my favourite aquascapes. I love the look. Your tank is amazing, full of colour and is extremely clean, neat and tidy.

![]() Actually, you could try various foods from larger frozen foods to fine foods made for filter feeders. The tough part is flipping the star upside down to place the food in its mouth...

![]() I just tried to get the red sea star to eat some krill today, no luck. I'm sure he would eat it but he wasnt interested in holding on to it so it kept floating away. I even 'pinned' the krill under the sea star and he just moved away from it. Hehe. I hope he'll live a while, there's lots of stuff he could eat in my tank. I have lots of sponge too.... which I actually hope they wont eat.
Thanks for the comments everyone! ![]() -Diana |
