I discovered I had them in January and treated the tank and I haven't seen any since. Your poll should have asked " have you ever had them?" as well.
 That said, there are worse things to have like the acro eating flatworms. YIKES!!! I now treat everything before I put it in my reef.

Treated for red bugs when I set up the new tank. Every acro that I have brought home from an aquarium store has had red bugs, so every one that goes into my tank gets a 12 hour Interceptor treatment.

Been there done that a couple of times. Treated earlier this year and currently red bug free.

I've had to treat some acros in QT, but haven't had them in my tank.

I retired and got a fixed income but it's broke. Ed _______________________________________ 50 gallon FOWLR, 10 gallon sump. 130 gallon reef, 20 gallon sump, 10 gallon refugium. 10 gallon quarantine. 60 gallon winter tank for pond fish. 300 gallon pond with waterfall.

As far as I know they only affect smooth skin acros. I did read on RC once that someones monti's had them also, but I am not sure how much truth that holds.
