Funny how these threads go dead after a loss, {see last two Vancover & Calgary}, but after a win, look out.

Anyways, glad they could hang in there. Will be tough against former GM and the Ducks.

totally! Personally I'm selfish and I don't want to waste my energy and drive on a team that's losing, it just sucks me dry and makes me feel totally drained after seeing them suck it.

I'm sure the next go around if they start to go you know what's up, it'll go a bit dead again

Problem with the Canucks is consistency, they have none and will be brilliant one day, and they'll play like a junior team the next - it's frustrating for those casual fans like me

I think part of being a fan is taking the good with the bad. Its good that we harp on them when they do poorly and praise them when they succeed. Afterall, without the fans there would be no team.....and hence no $$ in their pockets. So ultimately, we are boss....hear us roar!

Ottawa may be a land filled with evil polititions....but their hocky team is still Canadian As for the thread dying between wins, I didn't think my lauguage would have been apropriate for this forum As for Brian Burke, he will definatly have something to prove. If we can play like we did last night, we can beat any team.

and FWIW, I have always been a Canucks fan since Tiger days. Never had a fondness for the Flames or Oilers much, as they use to beat the crap out of our Jets every playoffs.
