![]() @honkey sauce:
"all switchable sockets dont work.sorry but its true" I am sorry - i can't believe that. We have several thousands of non-digital powerbars in operation, there are no problems. The only known issue is the problem with very high inrush currents with MH or other ballasts, this problem is solved with the new digital powerbars, they include inrush current limiters. Could you please explain detailled what you mean with "all switchable sockets dont work"? For what purposes do you want to use them (heater, pumps, ...)? Where did you connect the bar? Did you program the functions and powerbar properly? And so on... @Ginzo: On the ProfiLux: Under EXTRAS->Sprache (=Language). ->initial language is German, so you will see "Sprache" and not "Language". In the PC-software: Page "General" |

![]() matthias,
since these units are being sold in north america, can you guys set them up to already be setup as default in english. i cannot count how many times i have had to walk people through how to change the language to english. just a suggestion. i'm very excited to get a hold of the digital powerbars. i'm waiting to get them so that i can install the new ones and update the unit's firmware at the same time while everything is disconnected. all and all the controller is awesome. once i learned the menus it is extremely easy to use and very reliable. |

![]() Hi niloc
nothing heard from you for a longer time! Thank you for the suggestion - you are right, i'll do this for the next shipment! "once i learned the menus it is extremely easy to use and very reliable." - absolutely my opinion... I hope you will obtain your dig. powerbar soon, i can't wait much longer for your experiences with the MH... Another customer told me he connected his MH to the dig. powerbar - and it works without any problems! |

![]() Thanks Matthias,
One thing I'm having a hard time to understand, is what is the difference between the digital power bars and the conventional power bars. On the conventional powerbar, I will have plugged: 1 properbreeze, 1 ebo-jagger heater 250w, 1 ebo-jagger heater 150w, CO2 selenoid On the digital powerbar: 2 Metal Halide Giesemann Nova II 150w, 2 TEK T5 39w strips. But I can't much understand what will be the difference for me, with the conventional powerbar and the digi one ? I would like to plug in my return pump (Eheim 1262) to one of the power bars, so that it shut's off if the level of water in the overflow get's too high. Can I plug the return pump in the digital powerbar, since I have 2 sockets remaining ? Again, still don't understand what's the difference between both of them... |

All other uncritical devices can be connected to conv. or dig. powerbar - doesn't matter |

![]() Is there a reason why each dosing cycle is limited to 300 seconds? I dose my alk with Aqualifter pumps. A little more time would be better. I guess I could dose in 2 cycles.
Any sneak peeks of what your developing for a dosing pump for the controller? ![]() |
