So has anyone seen any of these around town, and if so, for how much? (PM me pricing if need be.) I'd like to try one in my tank.

I bought the 6025 at Elite on Friday. I know they just got a shipment of them in (all models, I believe) late last week. It came to $80 and some change, with tax.
And it rocks. |

Sweeet.. I'm going to Elite then!
Can you comment on the pump? What does it have over Seio's ? Smaller + more flow + magnet, etc. ?? I'd really like to try one.

I don't know how it compares to the Seio 620, because I've only ever used the Seio M1500. The flow from the 1500 is quite a bit more than the Nanonstream 6025, but it's also quite a bit bigger.
The magnet is excellent. Small and inconspicuous, strong and foolproof, it seems. In my opinion, one of the best selling features of the nanostreams is the ability to easily change the direction of flow, both because the spherical shape of the pump allows for a "3D" setting of the direction of flow, and because the magnet allows for easy re-placement. And all of this at an energy consumption of 8 watts :-) |

8 watts makes a big difference.
When you're running a tank 24/7, the electrical bill kind of builds up, doesn't it? I'm going to try one out when I have the money . |
