Before anyone else does what i did and fall in love with someone elses achilles tang. I should warn you, these guys love to swim. I've had 2 different yellow tangs, a naso and a white cheek and this guy could out swim them all.
He is the only fish that can eat the hair algae growing in the middle of my tunze stream |

The Achilles is an awesome fish. I remember snorkeling in Maui and seeing tons of these guys grazing and grazing. Extremely active as well.... great photos.

Marie, what's your thoughts on the foxface, good herbivore, reefsafe? Have seen that they could take a liking to clam and fleshy corals. Also I have concerns on the spines, are they aggressive if you put your hand in the tank?
Want another larger fish for the tank and really want a Yellow Tang but looking like I would just be a little cruel putting one in with my Purple. A foxface is in the running though. |

He's a fantastic herbivore but I can't really comment on the reefsafe part because I have an angel, who is definitely not reefsafe, in the same tank. He could be picking on corals and the angel gets blamed
He's not aggressive towards me at all and usually hides when my hands are in the tank, I do have to be a bit watchful when putting nori in though |
