![]() I don't think you could grow corals up there in Edmonton, but down here in Calgary we certainly get enough sunlight to grow even the hardest SPS.

![]() Just a thought,would it be possable to heat the pond if it wasnt too large,or would the cost be too much? They must make larger heaters for such a thing.
I just did a search for pond heaters and came up with quite a few sites,so I guess they do.

![]() I think the biggest problem woudl be keeping it cool enuf int he summer. you would need one big assed chiller and I don't know if this would be worth the cost. and again the same thing goes for heating in the winter.. depending on the size it could cost over 100.00/month just for heat and cooling.

![]() u would have alot of evaporation and the salinity would be up and down< and the water type you would have low fo phosphates from city water along with chorine in the water.
