Star Melting
my nice knobby orange and brown star was turning white and looked like it was mushy, wasn't sure if it was alive so i moved to my live rock storage.... look today and had melted in 1 day
 wth would cause that?

Could be anything. Not enough light, not enough water movement, not enough or too much heat, ammonia, or a combination of any of these.

Boy! You're not having very good luck with your critters lately. What are your water specs?
