![]() LOL, nah I never do snow tires, we only get snow a couple times a year and they're a pain in the arse to store for the rest of the year. Besides, I always make my husband drive in the snow, he's from Alberta and better equipped for it.

I know! My wife had to have a vehicle with AWD. I said: "What for? She said: "For the snow." Last year I think we had 4 days of snow. Mind you, I certainly liked the AWD this morning on the way to work. Roads are a mess.

![]() Yup, you really feel the cold when you have to work outside 9 hours a day in this weather. Thank God for coveralls and boots!

![]() I remembered this morning that clutches feel funny at -30.
Stay warm folks, especially you Dez and anyone else who has to work outside in this. When I built my house I "subcontracted" myself to do the network and speaker roughins. It was -20 when I was given the window of opportunity to go in. At that temperature, cat5 cable is about as pliable as steel rebar. Man what a miserable experience that was. String a room, go into the car and warm up, go string another room and back into the car, and so on. I ended up saying "forget it" to the speaker wires in the living room which I sorta regret NOW but, oh well c'est la vie.

![]() Jeez, I thought it was chilly on my walk to work today when it was 11C outside. I'd hate to be out where you guys are when it's actually winter.

Actually when the roads are this cold it's not too bad. It's that slushy wet ice we usually get that is the worst |

![]() When I lived in New Westminster BC (very briefly I might add) I think they got about 2 inches of snow one night...and the place shut down. I guess they only plow the two "major" roads there or somthing because cars were LITERALLY abandoned in the road. Weirdest thing Jerry and I had ever seen...he's from Halifax and me from Calgary, so we've seen our fair share of crappy weather....
