My snails sleep in the sand but they come out lots especially when I put in food. I love these guys. Here is a shot of the clam today at 6.00 PM I took out a few more snails this morning on my small clams. No snails on this clam though. It does not look like it has a big hole in the byssal but it is not open as much as it was.
