That was so sweet and what a great game. I was yelling so loud when they scored that empty net (the first one) my dogs ran out of the house (I think they were secretly just running around cause they were excited too).
My work trip to Calgary is going to be soooooooooooo sweeeeeeet next week! The President of the company I work for is a co-owner of the Flames so I am taking a full container of salt.

Funny how these threads go dead after a loss, {see last two Vancover & Calgary}, but after a win, look out.

totally! Personally I'm selfish and I don't want to waste my energy and drive on a team that's losing, it just sucks me dry and makes me feel totally drained after seeing them suck it.

I'm sure the next go around if they start to go you know what's up, it'll go a bit dead again

Problem with the Canucks is consistency, they have none and will be brilliant one day, and they'll play like a junior team the next - it's frustrating for those casual fans like me

Ottawa may be a land filled with evil polititions....but their hocky team is still Canadian As for the thread dying between wins, I didn't think my lauguage would have been apropriate for this forum As for Brian Burke, he will definatly have something to prove. If we can play like we did last night, we can beat any team.
