![]() Just noticed a couple of these guys in my tank the last couple days. I think they came in on a couple of corals that I bought this weekend. Just want to know what they are and if they are okay to keep.
Thanks ![]() |

![]() It looks like it could be a young nassarius snail or a whelk... if it is the later you want to get it out of there..but if it is a nasarrius it is good.
Does it bury itsself in the sand with it's tube sticking up?

![]() could be a young slider conch good if it is. Great sand sifter conches are and only eat algae. could be anouther conch that snail has ridges and I would lean towards a conch. Nice. Not all conchs have ridges and not all snails not have ridges.

![]() Not sure but could it be a Cone snail? I had one so watch and see if any other snail or crabs start dieing for no reason. I caught mine killing a regular snail, it puts out a web like thing and kills it. = bad

![]() I"ve been finding these in my tank lately, they must have hitchhiked as really tiny guys as I've counted about 6 so far. I'm sad to say I just don't trust them and they've all been flushed, even though I mostly only find them on the glass, they make me nervous.
