id this snail

Just noticed a couple of these guys in my tank the last couple days. I think they came in on a couple of corals that I bought this weekend. Just want to know what they are and if they are okay to keep.
Thanks

It looks like it could be a young nassarius snail or a whelk... if it is the later you want to get it out of there..but if it is a nasarrius it is good.
Does it bury itsself in the sand with it's tube sticking up?

No, I have only seen them crawling around on the rock so far.

could be a young slider conch good if it is. Great sand sifter conches are and only eat algae. could be anouther conch that snail has ridges and I would lean towards a conch. Nice. Not all conchs have ridges and not all snails not have ridges.

Not sure but could it be a Cone snail? I had one so watch and see if any other snail or crabs start dieing for no reason. I caught mine killing a regular snail, it puts out a web like thing and kills it. = bad :twised:

I"ve been finding these in my tank lately, they must have hitchhiked as really tiny guys as I've counted about 6 so far. I'm sad to say I just don't trust them and they've all been flushed, even though I mostly only find them on the glass, they make me nervous.

I just got the exact same snail.. same size too. i havent noticed it doing anything out of the ordinary and i've left it.. everyone is still accounted for. let me know if you have any problems with it and ill do the same!
