Compare that to about $750 (just skimming aboce) and I know what I'd do if I had this problem.

Ahh... hence the micro-bubbles.

When I turned my skimmer up to max, the outflow was a lot more.
This cause way more turbulance/bubbles in my sump.

Is it microbubbles you have or air...

Before the mod, I could only turn it to about 10:30.
The 'slip on' upper connection worried my at first. But I have yet to see any traces of salt...

Prizm mod

There has been a couple of posts in regards to Prizm skimmers.
Here's a mod that is cheap, easy and has really increased the performance of the skimmer.

It says it can grow upwards of 6 feet+ omg :eek:

It is a 'usual suspect' in dissapearances.
I think my worm is only a few inches right...

I just found this Prizm Mod courtesy of sumpfinfishe. Has anybody done this? Woould it work for a 'Prizm' ie not Pro as well?

I used a piece of 2"od acrylic that was 1 15/16" long and siliconed...
