Hmm. I got mine cranked on full (ie at 12:00)
Before the mod, I could only turn it to about 10:30. The 'slip on' upper connection worried my at first. But I have yet to see any traces of salt creep which would indicate a leak. If you're leaking perhaps a wrap of teflon tape? I haven't noticed any micro bubbles in my tank, but my skimmer is in my sump with a bubble trap before the exit. Is you skimmer HOB of the tank itself?
