Although my the stand on my first tank was MDF...
Although my the stand on my first tank was MDF (plastic coated) and had no signs of damage in 3 years, was always a concern. Have had other furniture made fr the stuff and doesn't to take much water...

It took a while, planning was being done before the basement was even dug, but happy with how it turned out.
Sump is in the basement with the tank return bulkhead about a 12 foot...

I know the instructions on the tube says wait 48 hours before adding water, but what the soonest you've had water without problems?
