if your undecided,use a plastic christmas paper that the colour is printed on foil(solid colour).if you don't like it you can always change the colour .the next tank i build i am thinking of air...

same problem-also if a grain of rhoa phos is in the threads it will leak.been thinking of putting a thin layer of neoprene in the lid to seal it.don't have the same problem with the larger reactor

my eel will catch them fast.try a homemade fish trap with food in it.use a plastic bottle,cut off about 3 " of the top and place the cut off neck in the bottle.you will probably have to weigh it down

feeding sponges

every sponge is different.i feed my tank different phytoplanktons and rotifers.once in a blue moon i use sponge power.the finger sponge will probably take care of itself,not sure about the other...

depending on how much slope.you can make an A-frame with some angled studs,and cover it with door skins.you could always wire it and plug your lights in depending on how much room you have

led strip won't work.there is very little radiant energy.i make my own leds using 1 watt red,blue and a few whites to grow algae
