Help: Mixing 10 gallons of NSW using H2Ocean salt

Question: 10 gallons of water to _ cups/ounces/lbs etc... of salt?

I've been using Instant Ocean, basic $39 a bucket stuff ($29 when on sale) since starting out. It says on the bucket to use 1/2 cup per 1 gallon of water. 10 gallons = 5 cups of salt. Easy peasy. I fill up the 5 gallon water cooler jugs at home with R.O. so my batches of NSW are done in 5 gallon increments.

Today, bought a bucket of H2Ocean+ to try out. The label says
"Add 1 Kg H2Ocean+ to 25 litres of R.O. water (1 Lb to 3 U.S. Gallons)"

This can surely be figured out with a calculator but I'm jet-lagged
... Anyone?

I'd add 1/2c per gallon. It's just salt Adjust as required.

i find that every bucket of salt is a bit different.always check with a refractermeter

I forgot what else I needed at J+l today, a refractometer! Doh... Oh wait, was trying to decide between the Milwaukee digital or analog Vertex, hmmm. Another paycheck with a hydrometer I guess

And just found this, someone said 1.5 cups per gallon, another used 4 per gallon? Jeez

I used h20ocean salt for about a year and it mixed 4 half cups to make 4 gallons almost every single time.

Start with 2 cups (the actual 250ml cup) per 5 gallon. H20cean seems to vary a bit from batches to batches by a bit. My previous batch made 1.026 @ 2cups/gallon while the new match needs 2.3 cups/gallon.

Yap IO is synthetic but h2ocean is solar evaporated, leading to different particle size. If you measure it my weight, you will be consistent but measuring by volume can differ between batches due to different particle size.

Just to update.
I used 3.3lbs OR 3lbs 4.8 oz OR 5 cups (all the same) to make 10 gallons of water at 1.026

So 1/2c per gallon
