Looking for popular opinions here. What's your favourite colour?

Black
White (Is this just crazy?)
Deep sea navy blue

Default back

if your undecided, use a plastic christmas paper that the colour is printed on foil(solid colour).if you don't like it you can always change the colour .the next tank i build i am thinking of air brushing the back to make it look like more depth.but all the tanks i've seen there is a lot of coralline growing on the back so your background disappears

I like royal blue.
But I have not seen that colour for a very long long time.
Lots of coraline on my back glass just as monocus said lol

I see where you are coming from. I am planning to have my rock work free-standing from the back glass as to be able to keep it coralline free (I hope).

Tuff call for me too between royal blue or black, I ended up going royal blue, looks really nice when the coraline fills in, but if I was to do it again I think I'd do it black, cause if you have acrylic overflow boxes they blend in better

I have a coast to coast overflow, so it's black acrylic. I keep it nice and clean with a plastic scraper and it looks real sharp. I've seen the two blues airbrushed and blended into each other. Beautiful effect!!!!

I voted for the fifth option (clear/unpainted). This way you can put a painted or printed sheet behind the tank and change it up anytime you like.

I put a black self-adhesive sticker on the back of mine. I find that black makes the colour of the corals and fish pop....
