is was thinking of just useing cinder blocks and a flat piece of wood on the top for my new 85g are there any other options for a stand 4'x18" that is cheap and strong,i have no talent at building anything :P

Check your local thrift store for cheap used dressers or something. Failing that, cinder blocks work

You could always just put er on the floor and set up a couple pillows for viewing. No Fuss! No Muss!

dude, i have a 4' x 18" metal tube stand in my garage.
(this is the type of stand that you can fit another tank of same dimensions underneath) make me an offer and its yours.
