Default 15 gallon rebuild

Well I have got the itch again, decided to get the tank up and running again. This tank is going to be much better than the last time I had her up and running. This is the progress I have made so far.

This is how it started out

Then I got her set up to drill a hole in her

Took 3 tanks to get this hole drilled, it was a real pain with this thin material

Cut some glass for the overflow, a little haggard cause it was my first time cutting but it'll do

More pics to come, I'll upload them tomorrow

some more stuff I did

Overflow being glued in

Back painted black as well as return plumbing

Plumbing all glued and clamped

Pump for my ATO mounted

ATO mounted without the sump in

Sump I'll be using

How she sits at the moment

Vertex RO/DI unit

This tank I'm planning to use to quarantine fish and have a frag tank on one side

Just using it for getting this live rock going

That's all I've got for now, I'll be using that 4 bulb T5 for now on the 15 gallon once I have her all set up. My aqua scaping out next, just wanna make sure that paint and plumbing cures for long enough.

Looking good.
I like your idea of the frag tank and
Quarantine out one long tank.

Ya it should be an interesting set up, I plan to put a larger tank where the frag/quarantine tank is with a sump under the stair case there.

Anyhow enough of that future stuff. This is what I have accomplished now, not much but a little progress.

Aqua scaping:

The tank from the couches. Very bright

FTS kind of cool rock in my mind. Don't know what corals I'll decide to keep yet though.

From the left side of the tank. This is where I plan to put an mp10

Right side of the tank, the power head there will be removed as I don't believe that it'll be necessary with an mp10 in the left corner.

Another right side tank shot, kind of shows the top of the rock work

Top down, good flow with the return sprayer.

Sump return side.

Live rock area in sump, I will get some cheato and put it in front of the lr thats in there now.

Electrical stuff, its got to all be mounted out of the way and zip tied yet. This is also where the ATO RO/DI water bucket will be.

This is a cabinet that I'm going to put on the left side of the tank for storage and whatnot, later on I will mount an LED fixture to this cabinet. I made it tall enough to do this.

That's all I got for now
