Default scratched acrylic

Does anyone know of a good product for removing scratches from acrylic.

The scratches are on the outside of the tank.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

TruVu sells a 2-part product called SRK-1 (Acrylic Scratch Removal Kit).
I use that and recommend it. (Outside the tank only)

I have also seen very fine buffing cloths (like wet-dry sand paper) that can be used inside the tank but I have never tried it.

novus makes a great line of acrylic scratch removal and polishing products for acrylic, they also have a cleaning spray that fills in micro pores and increases durability, I know you can get it at industrial plastics...

I just used to Novus product to clean up some scratches on the inside and outside of the 140g. Before I add water, should I be rinsing the inside with anything. We pretty much buffed everything out but am wondering if there are any harmful chemical residues I need to worry about.
