hehe, well, I guess I'm not off to a good start then.

If the mods want to delete my post #2 and #3....

how do you like the SK181? Any advice for my as far as dialing it in once it is broken in? How long did it take for yours to break in?

I have 110g total water and love my skimmer
It's super quiet and with the newest impeller has no restart issues
People come over and are shocked how quiet it is

Yours with the new pump should be even better

It's easy to dial in and gives me nice nog
I keep the air inlet wide open to outside air ( with a hose ) and use the gate to adjust my foam level

Break-in is pretty fast after a vinegar bath
If you have any kind of load in your tank, you should see skimmate right away
I find a get light nog for a few days after a cup cleaning, then a couple days of dark

I have the entry level CSC for my 90 gallon and I love it! Quiet, effective and it was pretty reasonably priced too.
