Default Going Fishing

When I first saw her on the tank, she was on the back side, dipping her paws in....I pulled her off twice this morning, no fish missing yet.....

Grrrrrr.....

it's getting cold outside. Maybe she just wants to bask in the light and catch some RAY(dion)s.

She's gonna go for a swim if she keeps it up. She's an indoor cat, so the cold not bothering her. She sits on the counter in the kitchen to watch the fish in the 55 as well.....problem is she's a mutant with extra claws on each of her front feet, all the more to catch fishies with....

The secret to keeping cats away from your tank is quite simple but it to be planned prior to filling it.

Step 1 - Place empty tank in place and leave empty for several days. Your cat will eventually become very comfortable and found of going in and out of it perhaps even napping in there or using it to display itself to you.

Step 2 - Fill the tank when the cat is not around, leave top open

Step 3 - Sit back and wait

I have an empty tank, I'll use these tricks to get her in, then fill it and hopefully that's the end of it. Both tanks were set up prior to us adopting her!!! Our other cat doesn't bother with the tanks at all.
