Default My new Nuvo 16 from The Coral Reef Shop

So I have been looking for a replacement for a while and I got talking to Shawn at the Coral Reed Shop. He had said they were bringing in these Nuvo Tanks and that I should check them out.

After doing a lot of research I pulled the trigger and got one of these tanks. I have had it running for a couple weeks now and I am pretty excited with the possibilities.

I was planning on keeping it a stock system but then as I thought about what I wanted to put in it I realized it wouldn't do as such. I subbed out the lights for two par 38 bulbs, upgraded the return pump, used the original pump to run a reactor and added two Koralia nano 425s hooked up to the wave maker controller.

Anyways thats enough talking for now...

Looks awesome, you sure do have a nice frag collection!
Just thought I'd mention this because I'm not sure if you know this or not but from what I've read in the past the Par 38's aren't supposed to be enclosed at all. They need to be kept well ventilated or they can over heat.

There is about a 1" gap all the way around the bulb and after hours of being on nothing is more than luke warm.

Thank you for the concern though! There are a lot of zoa frags hidden in this tank too. I have yet to get good pictures of them though.

Pink Elephants, Peach Paly, PPE and some Green Paly

Candy Apple Red, Forget the Name of the Green Paly. Orange Crush Zoas and the Red Paly aren't looking to hot now.

Lunar Eclipse Paly, What I was told were Jokers Paly but I have my doubts, and whatever the purple and yellow rimmed ones are called. Eye of Rah?
