Default Curing Live rock with established tank water

hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows if using my established tank water to cure live rock would help or be worse to cure liverock? was planning on doing 100% water changes with my established tank water, no point throwing good saltwater down the drain if i can use it thanks

Should be fine. Your dumping the water after its cured anyways. I've done this before.

Using "used" tank water should have no noticeable effect provided the used water is reasonably clean. If it has measurable nitrate or phosphate I personally wouldn't want to use it. Aside from that, it is definitely a perfectly good way to reuse saltwater and save a few bucks.
