Would be nice but for idividual orders I wouldn't trust customs to get anything through in a safe amount of time to actually get a fish that is still alive.

I think they will ship dry goods to Canada, just like marine depot. But customs doesn't allow any rock, corals with skeletons and quite a number of fish through for all sorts of legal reasons.

But yeah I have to agree, I wish I could buy off of divers den!

I dont get the drooling over American suppliers. I bought all I ever needed or wanted in Winnipeg for almost 20yrs. and now that I,m here, all my livestock will come from JL.

What am I missing here?

you could get a US CITES permit to be able to bring SPS or seahorses into Canada...

no, an individual CANNOT start the process of getting CITES
it has to be the exporting company that starts the process.
and it is certainly not worth it at all for a couple of seahorses or SPS as it typically takes a month or two and a couple of hundred bucks at least for the company to do it.
once again, you as the importer cannot start CITES.
and 99.99 percent of stores will not do this for people has it is too complicated and expensive.
only wholesalers typically will do this for stores that are ordering from them.
