![]() We have been working closely with advanced Reef Aquatics with the testing of our new range of CSC skimmers (formally Skimz but now with high performance Sicce pumps)
Flavio is not easily impressed, he has seen a fair share of skimmers come and go but I think his words kind of sum up the CSC skimmers well. First thoughts before install nice and clean build. Quiet ![]() Second thought on install Cone with a good pump for under $400 its very good. Then Cool how you can regulate air with little valve And this morning This skimmer is puking good!!!!! Picture taken about 12 hours after install no vinegar bath!! ![]() While testing these models out we have now been able to properly give them their real ratings, this has lead to a very positive outcome especially with the CSC-350 now to be renamed CSC-400. The formula for the 400 actually works out for the unit to be able to run a 900 gallon system!!!! But even we feel that would be a hard sell so we have down rated it to 500 gallon allowing for larger tanks to have wide flexibility in stocking. Here are the official release ratings CSC-150 = 100-180 gallon CSC-250 = 200-300 gallon CSC-400 = 300-500 gallon Last edited by Aqua-Digital; 06-29-2012 at 10:53 PM. |
