Default Tangdaddy's Phifty LPS tank (budget build)

Well I thought I would start a journal on my 50g reef since it's looking very colorful these days. It started in the late fall when I tried to sell it for cheap and never panned out, so instead I stocked it up with fish and a few coral. Because I didn't qt the fish they all got ich and perished, after this I left the tank fishless for a few months and concentrated more on sorties and Lps corals.

My current fish stock are 2 Extreme Black Ice clowns, 1 Barnacle Blennie, and a new blue line flashed wrasse.

The tank is very simple with only one thing in mind, Corals!

It runs a return pump, 200w titanium heater, ato, 1/4 hp chiller, 4 t5 and tunze nano wavebox.

Display 50g breeder 36"x18"x18" 1/3 of the tank has been converted into a overflow chamber, skimmerless and no reactors ATM.

I put about 35lbs or live rock for an openscape with 3 sides of viewing, peninsula style system.

So far I have kept flower pots, pipe organ, elegance, open brain, acans, micromussa, gorgonia, scolly's, lobos, carnation, dendro, black suncoral, fungia plate, blasto, symphyllia, wall anchor, cloves, rics, Duncan, Zoas, palys and
mushrooms with no problems, every thing is exploding with growth and colour.

Will be updating the pics tommorow....

ANTICIPATION...... I've seen Crhis's tank and it's beautiful. The colors pop out under the T5 lighting.

Tank looks amazing in person, the shear amount of color combination will make you go whoa, that's gorgeous!

Let me know when you want more picture, I will be happy to take them for you.

Chris, glad to have the chance to get to know you better. Thank you for your help in getting me back to the ferries on time for the last sailing. Next time I'm in hope to see your display!
