I bought my ATI fixture from Vince/Viper and it came with a Fiji Purple that He loved. I like the added color.

Ive had a Geisemann aquapink (pretty close to fuji purple) in for about 5 months now and it does make the red/orange colors pop a bit more.

Very interesting, thanks for the feedback guys, I have been reading and the purplish pink colour enhances the pink reds and orange. I have also read that in horticulture they use blue bulbs for veg and red light for budding. I have also been looking into t5, t8vho led strips.....

The Ati and kz t5 are manufactured in the same facility (Slyvania) when comparing the spectrum it looks like the Fiji purple puts out more red spectrum than the Ati.

Anyone use horticulture red t5 on their reef?

They are pretty cheap online when you buy 8 works out to $12ea.....

Great color, makes pinks pop. You should also look at the new ATI Coral Plus, great bulb...I love the spectrum.
