Default Mounting Devil's Hand Frags

Hi,

Does anyone know of a easy way to mount frags of Devil's Hand coral??? Thanks!

Default Mounting Devil's Hand Frags

One method is use a needle and thread. Push the needle thru the base of the frag and tie it to the rock. If you can dry the surface enough, glue sometimes works. Stuffing the base in a hole has worked for me also.

If you take a shallow, let's say 3 inch or so tupperware container and place rubble in it just to cover the bottom.
place your frags in the container and in a while they attach themselves.
Point of the container is to keep them from getting wisked away in the current.

I have used the thread trick and it works too.
I found drilling holes in rock with a drill to be the best and dont tie frag too tight or the thread will pull through the coral frag.

I use the above mentioned techniques for my leather and colt coral frags.
