Default Bored fish?

A while ago I did a post about my regal tang tormenting snails....I found out last night this may not be the case. When I saw him with the snail (shell) I thought he killed the snail as it did nothing when he finally left it alone. But last night I caught him carrying around a dead piece of coral/live rock....he carried it for a bit, then dropped it.....then he did it again!

Could he just be bored and playing with whatever he can find

Default Bored Regal tang

I have about a 6 inch Regal tang and he does the same thing. He picks up pieces of rock, crabs, anything he can swims to the top of the tank (30 inch high) and drops them - seems to be a great sport for him Just the other evening I watched this tang knock some snails off the side walls of the tank.

I have a "baby" regal tang also which is just about 3 inches and he does the same thing.

I think it's a trait of these fish to assert themselves??
