I paired a Watchman goby with a pistol shrimp. It was an instant bond. I bought the pistol and droped it in the tank and they found each other within a few mins.
When I had the two of them in a small tank on their own they were out all the time. The pistol fallowed my goby where ever he went, moving sand like a bulldoser.
I later moved them to a slightly larger tank that had a aggresive damsel and the goby and pistol hide all the time.

Yep. Bulldozer shrimp and an orange spotted watchman goby. Instant best friends and lots of fun to watch.

Did it in a past tank and they were always out of sight. Cool additions for sure but I think better in smaller tanks, in big ones they just get lost.

Got a tiger pistol and dropped in a yellow goby paired by the morning but the ywg was a chicken **** and hid all the time so I never saw them but when I moved my ywg jumped so I got a metallic shrimp goby who happened to be theonly one not hiding and who had all his fins intact needless to say he is not scared at all and there always out

I still have this pair from last year. They are still going strong. I've had the shrimp for several years and the goby for over a year.

I added a 2nd high fin goby about 6 months ago as well. Shrimp and both gobies are doing well. The algae in the background is currently being mowed down by some urchins.
