Default Copper band

My CB has a white build up on one of its fins that is getting larger. I can't seem to remember what its called or how to treat. Its white and seems to get larger build up that looks like crystals. Any ideas, my cleaner has cleaned only a small protion off.

Thanks

Marcus

Try checking out some of the disease descriptions on wetwebmedia, you may find something similar.

That could possibly be lymphocystis....water quality and nutrition will fix that particular malady.

Thanks for the info and the link, it does look like that. I have noticed some sponges on the live rock that have fallen off and could be affecting the water quality. Does Selcon work with frozen foods? Whats the best way, soak frozen for awhile before feeding with the selcon?

Thanks

I thaw the frozen and discard the liquid, then let it soak in selcon for a while in the fridge.
