Default some of my previous Freshie endeavours :)

Ive always been into big....Knarghly.... amazing fish
Heres a few of the things ive built and loved in the freshwater world prior to my salt conversion....
My asian arowana comunity tank

2 foot tigrinus with 12" clown loaches....

Hand built dual 180 gallon rack with 90 gal sump

Fly river turtles

27" tiger shovelnose catfish and crossback

My first breeding pair of stingrays

AND.... last but not least my big group of red foot tortoises that keep my new salt tank company with the lights being on another hour for dusk

And before myka jumps in here I am doing my very very best to loose the freshie mentality when applying anything to salt LOL
Its hard all the patience and time frames that go into this new hobby but it sure is worth it

Sold a few in town, shipped a few to vancouver and gave a couple to a friend.
I still miss them and will probably get them again down the road but this salt tank will be my main focus for a good long while lol

Those Aros are beautiful.

Did your rays ever have pups?

I think I remember seeing a pic of your dual 180 stand on MFK, is that right?

finally something a little more up my alley! Fresh water lol love the aros, I would love to keep some, but my apartment lack room and floor support for an adequate tank maybe someday done the road! for now my focus is my cichlids, and the fry, and My nano, which has been nothing but a head ache so far hahaha. I'm slowly figuring out all my problems with my saltwater, its sure a heck of a lot different then fresh

Patience pays off. In regards to a reef tank I once heard someone say, "The only thing that happens fast is a crash." Yup. LOVE the Arowanas btw.
