Default Lf: Sump(lower mainland)

Hey guy I have decided instead of shutting it all down I am just going to set up one of my frag tanks as a shallow tank, So I am currently looking for the largest possible sump to fit in a 37 inch long by 29 deep, Hight does not matter as stand is very tall.

Post with pics please!
Thanks!

If the tank is is good shape and holds water it should work fine, anyone know any good cheap places to get acrylic or plastic to cut and use as baffles? I need to get this done today? If not i was just going to go to rona and get some plexi glass sheets and cut them up and put them in. Shoot me a pm with your number I would like to get this asap as this is my only day off for a little while.

Pm sent!

if it's a glass tank, use glass baffles as acrylic does not adhere to silicone very well. Especially if the baffles are built to hold more water in one compartment than others it will simply blow out!

Yup, acrylic baffles will pull out of the silicone over time. Use glass baffles. 2 is all you need. I usually go with 8-10" to create the right water height for the skimmer to sit in.
