So here's my issue. The hydnophora plate that you see is largely one piece held in place by epoxy. The issue for me is that the last time I fragged it, part of it was left behind on the rock. That part you see in the background. That part has encroached upon my pink A.milli in behind. There is now only about 1mm (possibly less) between the two. Sooner or later the hydno is gonna do its thing and possibly melt the milli.

I don't really want to move the milli.

I'm wondering if I can squirt the edges of the hydno piece (the piece that's on the rock, the whole colony itself can be moved, but that piece is not the problem) with kalk or something. Or try scraping it. I just want to move it back a bit.

Any advice? I'm thinking I'll have to find a new spot for the pink milli if I want to hang onto it.

I would get rid of the scrap of hydnophora. Put some putty over it.

Yeah Tony,
I agree, try scraping it or using kalk.
