Default Yellow's 90G Upgrade

So I have had a 30g running for about a year, and I learned way to much to write down - thanks to most of you guys. Now I think its time for me to jump up to something bigger!!

-Custom 90G tank 3' x 2' x 2'
-Custom 30G sump, just a glass box, baffles to come later
-Wavepoint 36" Quad t5 (for the time being)
-175w Heater
-Pond Master Mag Drive 12
-Custom Built Wood Stand

Fish Room (more like the Furnace/Laundry Room with addition RO/DI Unit)
-Coralife 100GPD RO/DI
-32G Bucket

Without Further a-due, this is the current 30G system From Start to Now

And now the new tank!!

The Back Wall - 2 3/4' Inlets and 2 1' bulkheads for a Herby style overflow

We have Lift off!

87lbs of Marco Base rock from Red Coral

In the Tank

Got A few Corals in now

Finally got the baffles done in my sump!

Made a Few Changes + Cheato!! Thanks to frizzo1983

The Residents of the Reef

My now 1 1/2 year old Maroon Clown

The first Fish I ever got, my Lawnmower Blenny

My blue devil Damsel

and lastly my other damsel that got dropped off at my doorstep!

Now for the coral! but only some if it, not all of it has been moved over yet

I can only post 30 pics at a time so here comes part 2

Awesome rock work!

(it's mike by the way)

Where is your skimmer at now?? Running nothing at the moment?

I also see some mad overflow out of those filter socks... Same reason I got rid of mine! couldn't keep changing them every day lol

Can't wait to see this thing grow.

Hey mike, yeah Im skimmerless right now, Im hoping the cheato will do the job for me now untill it gets a little more diverse. I ran the skimmer right after it cycled to clean everything right up.

Take a look at this tank, Im hoping for something along the lines of this, all he's got is cheato and a few hangon filters

Ill throw the skimmer back on later down the road

Great nice rock arrangement. Please mount that vortech controller. It's sitting in a very scarry position. Great job btw.

Default Any ideas?

This is my problem. I wanted to paint the back of my tank from the beginning but it somehow slipped to the wayside, now i'm kinda stuck for what I can do.
1. Painting the back is a possibility still but my only concern is that you'll still be able to see into it.
2. I thought about a piece of acrylic in the overflow but I don't think the colours will match the paint even if perfectly matched beforehand (see picture - the darker is on the outside the other on the side and the last inside the overflow)
3. I am now thinking that I can get a full sheet of thin acrylic to place inside the tank the full length of the wall. BUT there are two issues with that - how to get it to stay flush with the back wall and there are a few points of my rock work that is against the wall ( I cant move it very easily)

Here is the colour problem (they are all the same - left to right, inside overflow, outside tank (darker), inside tank (same as overflow)

Anyone got any thoughts or other suggestions?
