Default clownfish coloration

Hello all,

I just received 2 true percs from jl. They made it just fine and are in the 10gal qt tank now. I have a question about one of them. The larger one is colored as all the pictures I've seen of true percs, and I must say, much nicer up close . The other is a bit smaller, and colored a bit different. Instead of a full white bar for the third stripe, its just a white dot on each side, and instead of bright orange, it is a redish-brown on the top and fades to orange about 2/3 of the way down.

Its not important for them to be perfect, I just want to make sure I received a true perc, and would really like them to pair up. is it a true perc and are they likely to pair?

Yea still a true perc. He's fine. Just a variance in pattern just like us humans. We cant all be blond hair and blue eyes. We have brown hair, red hair, black hair, streeks etc. I believe when they dont have a complete bar they are called misbar. But im not positive. Either way your fish is just unique

Awesome. Thanks for the assurance. I don't at all mind having one that is unique, as long as it doesn't hurt the chances of them pairing up. I don't plan on breeding, just want them to get along. I guess time will tell.
