Default POwer head help

im running a 90 gallon, overflow the return pump is at 600 gph, i have one hydro #1 (180-450) should i add another #1 or a nano 100-240gph??

What kind of tank is that? Fish Only, Soft coral, SPS, Zoa, LPS, mixed?
OK, just found out your tank from the other thread. You defintely need more flow. One HK #1 is not enough. Get a couple of HK #3 or HK850 at the minumum and blast them at each other.

Yeah I would agree with more. I was running my 33 gallon with that much flow and it was just enough. I would add a few more.

Yep way more flow! I have 2 HK2's and a similar size return pump as you in a tank half your size

If money isn't an option a Vortech MP40 or 2 would nice.

I have 2 koralia 4's in my 90G SPS tank.

edit: If you have sugar sand(small particle) in your tank don't go with too much flow. I learned the hard way and have spots in my tank with bare bottom and spots with 3" sand.

Yeah, I am learning that as well. I have a koralia 1050 and a 750 in my tank and everyday I have to move some sand around

I have a 90 gal mixed.....and am running 2 750gph k's, 1 1050 and a 1400......I'm contemplating changing out one of the 750's for anther 1400




So I vote for waaaaaaaaaay up your flow

Wayyy more flow! Try dual Vortech MP40's. One on each end
