Default Electronic ballasts

I have some phillips 4 bulb T8 electronic ballasts, I was wondering if these could be used to run 55w compact flouresents? The only reason I asked is I noticed posts about the WH7 and I thought they might be the same type of ballast?

I very much doubt it. You should remember that all the ballast really does is control the current flowing to the tube. If there was no ballast the current would keep increasing and the tube would blow up. Therefore the current allowed by the ballast is of great importance, and your ballasts probably don't match the requirements of the PC's
