Whats better ?
very fine or corse sand ??

I'm a fan of the finer stuff personally. I started with some coarse aragonite but after an upgrade I switched to the oolitic aragonite sand, which looks nicer.

I have had both and prefer the look of the fine sand. If you have sand sifters I would use a fine and medium mixed. All depends on what direction you plan on taking with your tank. Coarse and fine each have different functions depending on your setup. Reef or predator.

Is a reef set up...
contemplating getting the Eco-Reefer Bahama fine sand
anybody tried them before ?
