My cheato died :(
So why would my cheato die?
I have a grow lights made to grow plants i bought from RONA (60w) on a chamber in my sump. I also have some red algea in there (which also looks like its dieing) The light is on when the sun is down. aprox 10-12hours a day. What could be causing my cheato to die off? There isnt much surface agitation where these guys are, its right next to the filter sock where my return comes in.

Do you have any biopellets or other nutrient reduction systems on the tank? Could be that you don't have enough nutrients to keep them thriving.

im running 180g, link is on my signature with specs
the bulb didnt have a kelvin rating that i could find, it said "gro light", made for plants, its very yellow though. Mind you i did just notice my duncan isnt doing to great either, does it need nutrients? also i forgot im running rosphaws, one bag of it and that green phosphate removal pad thing.
