Default questions on the new tank

i have a question in REF: to the new tank that i'm going to have in replace of the 280

anyway the question is about i'm not going to have a sump and will be topping off the tank with RO/DI water from a container down stairs manually. When i make the hood for the tank i'm going to have IC 660 in the over the tank the lights are going to be 6-8" from the water.

Should i have 2 fans or 1 fan blowing in or sucking out to keep the lights cool.
I'm thinking of having one fan blowing in, but where is the air going to be going.

I have also thought about having the fans one on the side and the other on top blowing out to the top .what do you guys think...

Mike

P.S the tnak will be a 72 gal bow front the wife told me tha is what she wants..

Doesn't matter how much you have been reading until you take the plunge.
You don't know as much as you think.
