pH probe maintenance
My pH probe is covered in coraline bits, tubeworms, and other stuff. I brushed most of the stuff off but I don't want to scrape the glass probe itself for fear of damaging it.
Is it a bad idea to let it soak in vinegar for a few hours? I assume I'd need to recalibrate afterwards. What do others do to keep their probes shiney clean?

According to Randy over at RC ... soak in mild solution of 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water overnight and then recalibrate.
Cheers
