Default What should I do??

Hello,

I am new to this site and have one big question....

I have a 46 gallon bow front tank that has been sitting dry for just over a year... I want to set it back up.. Should I start over right from scratch and re silicone my tank... or should I leave the sand and rock where it is and just try filling it with water?? Help... please!!! Thanks so much

If the silicone is not loose and peeling I do not see a problem.
Take it outside and place the tank on some stryofoam on a level surface and fill with water. You will see if it leaks or not.

start from scratch you maybe able to use that rock as a base rock. If the silicone is not peeling or comming off it should be ok but themn again I reseal all my tank when they have been down for exstended times and any used tank I reseal. It's not hard and only takes less than a hour to do. better to be safe than sorry.
