Default Has anyone seen a real good 96W Actinic tube?

I would like to get a real good dark blue (03) 96W Actinic tube. My new CSL tube has lots of par, but shifts green colors to orange. My Coralife one is better in that respect, but poor in others.

Michel, Bob asked which Power Compact bulb (96W) was good for actinic light. You answered with a VHO bulb. Steve answered Bob by saying that PC does not have good actinic bulbs and that he likes VHO best for actinic bulbs. Hope that clears it up.

Hi Bob,

Are you looking for square pin or straight pin alignment? I found some nice blue ones in a straight pin (Which is what I needed), in Seattle a little while ago. Truthfully not a deep purple blue but a nice lighter blue. I also just purchased the new Coralife's and have been happy with the purple colour.

Rob

Actually Rob, my light is square pin, but upon some reflection, I am probably OK. The color shift only happens with one type of zoanthid, and when the 10000K is on that effect goes away.
