OC is proud to bring affordable DIY float switches to those that want to add an automated top off system to their aquariums. These floats are made fully submersible, from non bio-degradable/ reef safe material to ensure that it wont effect the water parameters in your aquariums. With only 1.75" size these float switches will fit into most aquariums no problem at the same time keeping your water level and salinity levels stable.

I guess i forgot the most important part of this post haha.

The price for these float switches are:

$14.98/ea

These can handle up to 120 V so you can still put 12V through them and have it work properly

One for sure. It's a toss up of this or a kent float valve. But for $15, can't beat that.

So all you need to add to get this baby to work is a switch-box with an outlet/connection for the top-off pump or solenoid?

thats right! even putting it inline on an extension cable could theoretically work if done correctly.

Also these could be used with your RKE or RKL system to program your ATO system

I believe, as Eugene has told me before, you just splice the switch into the power cord of the pump. If i'm wrong Eugene will pipe up and explain.
