Default water movement for large tank

I plan a new tank and would like input on some water movemnet.
1.) 4 tunze 6105 with contrallor and wave box
2.) 4 way ocean motions with hammer head and wave box
3.) 8 way ocean motions with hammer head and wave box

I like the wave box because I have one on my tank now.
I would like to use a verable speed pump but red dragon is pricey and recalled them back. I don't know of any other verable speed pumps on the market that aren't 3/4 hp or more.

Any other ideas would be good.

tank info 96 long 38 wide 30.5 tall
sps and lps mainly

You are always welcome to drop by and get a first hand look at my twin OM-4way installation. I wanted to get away from powerheads, so I went with the CLs. I have no regrets with that choice. I'm certainly not far. PM me.

I have no experience with the 8way.

Looks like you are planning an outstanding system.

What you have planned appears quite good and should do the trick. The powerheads will be required after the tank has grown out a few years (for the SPS), otherwise the well designed CL systems you have planned should do a great job. Post some pics!
