Sorry to hear. That does suck. I left on paternity leave in January, because my wife makes more(a lot more) money than I do. I thought no big deal, I will just return in Sept. I was talking to the guys the other day and they are letting 4 guys go. Makes me wonder if I have something to go back too.

I know what you mean. I've been putting off getting a new vehicle (house, vacation and marriage) for 4 years because I cant find steady employment here. Now if I could only get a refund for that $25000 I spent on education...

While many of us (including me) have faced many different ups and downs, i'm gonna get geeky and say, "just believe that it will all work out" Be positive and positive things will come your way, be negative and that's all you'll see and possibly experience. Do what you have to, to keep things going and share the responsibilities in life with your partner (if you have one).

Ya, I know I will get another job, it's just when. We have been living on the edge for quite a while now, Savings were burned up last year. I cant afford even 2 weeks without a paycheque right now, EI JUST pays Mtg and Truck payment, nothing else. Only behind on CC bills so screw them, household bills are kept up.

Dan you come off as a pretty intelligent guy, I'm sure things will pull through for you! Should see if you can do something more your skills oriented and just run with it.
